She is a Syrian architect and writer based in Germany. She has professional experience in international development and in the management of rehabilitation and urban recovery projects. Her research and writing explore the relationship between space, power, and memory, with a particular focus on spatial justice and gendered experiences of the city. Her work has appeared on several Arabic and international platforms, including The Politicized Humanitarian Architecture of Al-Hol Camp, Reconstruction in the Name of the People and Tourism, Space and Uprising, The Exception within the Exception, and This Is Not a School, among others.
